Columbus, Ohio – Tournament officials announced today that Nationwide Children’s Hospital has earned the Korn Ferry Tour’s Charity of the Year Award for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship at this week’s annual PGA TOUR Tournament Meetings.
Since the tournament’s inception in 2007, Nationwide Children’s Hospital has served as the charitable beneficiary and namesake of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. The hospital has been integrated across numerous activations during tournament week including:
The Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship has donated nearly $30 million in support of the hospital’s pediatric cancer program over the past 18 years. In 2024, the tournament raised a record total $3,802,610 for central Ohio charitable organizations, including $3,607,590 for pediatric cancer research and treatment at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. This marks the fourth year in a row the Korn Ferry Tour Finals event has exceeded the $3 million mark.
