Introducing Folds of Honor Friday, an inspiring new experience for fans, players, sponsors and volunteers to engage at PGA TOUR events through a shared connection and appreciation of our U.S. service members and first responders who guard the freedoms of those domestic and abroad. It’s an opportunity to come together as one with a greater purpose.

This year, the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship will celebrate Folds of Honor Friday on Friday, September 20, 2024. 

Wear Red, White & Blue for Folds of Honor Friday!

Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship fans are encouraged to wear their red, white and blue on Friday, September 20 as an outward display of unity and an inward commitment to meeting sacrifice with hope for the families of America's fallen or disabled military and first responders.

Ribbons

Folds of Honor Friday at the Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship will also include official Folds of Honor ribbon pins that will be proudly distributed and displayed throughout the day.

Opening Ceremony

The tournament will feature an Opening Ceremony with a performance of the National Anthem by a member of The Ohio State University Marching Band and a Presentation of Colors by The Ohio State University ROTC.

Flag Folding Closing Ceremony

The tournament will feature a Closing Ceremony with a Flag Folding Ceremony by The Ohio State University ROTC and the National Anthem performed by a member of The Ohio State University Marching Band.

Hole No. 13 Flag Tending 

Military Service Members/Veterans and First Responders will tend the American flag pin flag on the par 3, 13^th hole on Friday during the Second Round of competition.
