Record-setting donation of $3,939,785 for charitable organizations in central Ohio announced for 2025 Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship

Columbus, Ohio – Tournament Officials announced today that the 19th playing of the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship, concluded September 21, 2025, at The Ohio State University Golf Club – Scarlet Course, raised a record total $3,939,785 for central Ohio charitable organizations, including $3,708,805 for pediatric cancer research and treatment at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. This marks the fifth year in a row the Korn Ferry Tour Finals event has exceeded the $3 million mark. Since its inception in 2007, the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship has donated nearly $33 million in support of the hospital’s pediatric cancer program.

“This best-in-class event continues to set the standard on the Korn Ferry Tour for meaningful impact, and we’re deeply grateful to every partner, patron and volunteer whose support makes this tournament so special,” said Craig Hawley,president and chief operating officer for Nationwide Financial and chairman of Champions of the Community, the host organization for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship. “We also want to extend sincere thanks to the Patient Champions and their families who join us during tournament week and whose stories of courage and resilience inspire us year after year.”

The 20th annual Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship will be contested September 17-20, 2026, at The Ohio State University Golf Club – Scarlet Course and will be the second of four Korn Ferry Tour Finals events.
